The next meeting of the East Silver Spring Civic Association is Monday, October 12, 2026, at 7:00 pm. We'll meet at the Sligo Avenue rec building at 500 Sligo Ave. Our guest at the ESSCA meeting is Matt Johnson, project manager with the Montgomery County Department of Transportation. He oversees the East Silver Spring Greenway Project, designed to make neighborhood streets more friendly to bicyclists and pedestrians. You can read more about the project at the MCDOT Website.
