Shape the future of your community! East Silver Spring needs leaders to serve on the East Silver Spring Civic Association (ESSCA) board. There are five roles: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary and Recording Secretary.
What does ESSCA do, exactly? It…
plans events to bring neighbors together through music, the arts, community service, and good food and drink
provides neighborhood communication channels through our Facebook group, listserv, website, and email newsletter
connects residents to County services, government, and events, and
partners with community organizations such as the ESS and Sligo Creek Elementary PTAs, Koiner Farm/CKC Farming, ArtSpace, and CreateArts

Submit your nomination by April 24. The nominees will be announced on Facebook, on the listserv and in the newsletter.
The current president of the board is Kate Myers, and the vice president is Dan Reed. Corresponding Secretary Pete Tantisunthorn does not intend to seek reelection.
