Become a Committee Chair

We need your help! We have three committee chair roles open that need filling: Welcoming, Planning and Environment. These are critical roles to the lofty vision of the 2021-22 ESSCA board.

As a committee chair, you will:

• Work with the ESSCA board to identify goals for the committee for the year.

• Be part of the Executive Committee, along with the board officers.

• Recruit and manage committee volunteers to further the objectives of your committee.

• Serve for the entire board year, from September 2021 to August 2022.

We are looking for individuals to fill the Chair for each of the three newly-formed committees:

1. Welcoming Committee - Do you love meeting new people, starting conversations, greeting your neighbors and making people feel welcome? You would be a great chair of the Welcoming Committee.

2. Planning Committee - Are you somebody who lives for today but plans for tomorrow? Are you interested in building a neighborhood that meets the needs of the current and future residents of our diverse community? Consider the Chair of the Planning Committee.

3. Environment Committee - Do you live for the outdoors, love the intermingling of our urban environment with nature, and enjoy rallying people around everything green? Maybe you should be the chair of the Environment Committee.
