Fenton and Grove: get your voice heard
You've probably noticed the traffic recorders around the neighborhood - they're everywhere! The County DOT is moving on its studies of Fenton St., Grove St., and surrounding streets, and they're looking for your input!
If you weren't able to attend the meeting at East Silver Spring Elementary back in January, there are still ways for you to get your voice heard:
Contact the Project Manager, Matt Johnson, at Matt.Johnson@montgomerycountymd.gov or 240-777-7237.
Deadline for initial comments is Weds, February 12!
There will be additional public meetings for Fenton and Grove Streets but it's best to get your comments in now.
You can also check out the County's Pedestrian Master Plan, and if you navigate to Grove St. on this Pedestrian Level of Comfort Map, you can click on the purple pedestrian icon which will let you watch a video, then give your opinion about how comfortable (or not) it is to walk on Grove St.
We at ESSCA would also like to hear from you too, please contribute your ideas to the listserve, our Facebook Group, or contact me at esscaprez@gmail.com.
